Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from people in Edinburgh looking for ADHD support.

Do you offer in-person ADHD coaching in Edinburgh?

All sessions are delivered online via Google Meet. This means you get the same high-quality, personalised support without travelling across Edinburgh. Many clients find online sessions actually work better for their ADHD, as they can be in their own comfortable environment.

How much does ADHD coaching cost in Edinburgh?

Single sessions are £125 for 60 minutes. I also offer bundles: 3 sessions for £320 (save 15%) or 5 sessions for £470 (save 25%). This is competitive with other ADHD coaches in Edinburgh and Scotland, and you can start with a free 15-minute discovery call to see if it is right for you.

Does the Right to Choose apply in Scotland?

No. The Right to Choose is an NHS England policy and does not apply in Scotland. In Scotland, adult ADHD referrals go through NHS Lothian, and waiting times can be very long. However, you can still pursue a private assessment or seek support while you wait. My mentoring can help you develop practical strategies regardless of your diagnosis status.

Can university students in Edinburgh access ADHD mentoring?

Yes, I work with students at the University of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Napier University, and other Scottish institutions. If you receive Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) through SAAS (Student Awards Agency Scotland), your ADHD mentoring sessions may be funded through your support package. Contact your university disability service to find out more.

How long are NHS ADHD waiting lists in Edinburgh?

NHS Lothian handles adult ADHD referrals in Edinburgh, and waiting times can stretch to several years. Unlike in England, there is no Right to Choose option, so many people in Edinburgh choose private assessment. My mentoring can support you while you wait, or alongside your diagnosis journey.
