1. About My Services

ADHD Mentor is operated by me, Caitlin Hollywood. I provide non-clinical ADHD mentoring services for adults and university students. My mentoring is skills-based and goal-oriented, focused on practical strategies for managing executive function challenges.

2. Not a Clinical Service

ADHD mentoring is not a clinical, therapeutic, or medical service. It does not constitute counselling, psychotherapy, or any form of regulated healthcare. I am not a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. My services:

• Do not replace diagnosis, therapy, or medical treatment.
• Cannot diagnose ADHD or any other condition.
• Do not include advice on medication. If you have questions about ADHD medication, please consult your GP, psychiatrist, or prescribing clinician.
• Are not a substitute for assessment by a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

If you are in crisis or require clinical support, please contact your GP or a qualified mental health professional. In an emergency, call 999.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

My mentoring services are designed for adults aged 18 and over. Clients aged 16–17 may access my services with written consent from a parent or legal guardian. I do not provide services to anyone under the age of 16.

4. Booking and Sessions

• Sessions are 60 minutes long and cost £70 per session.
• The 15-minute discovery call costs £10, paid when you book it. I refund it in full if you book a mentoring session or bundle within 30 days of the call, as set out in the refund policy.
• Sessions and the discovery call take place online via Google Meet.
• Bookings are made through my online scheduling page and are subject to availability.
• Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
• Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed in advance.

5. Cancellation Policy

• If you are booking for yourself rather than for a business, you have 14 days to cancel for any reason, counted from the day after you book or buy a bundle. Inside those 14 days, any cancellation before the session is refunded in full, however short the notice.
• When you book, you ask me to go ahead with your session within the 14 days and confirm that once it has taken place you can no longer cancel it for a refund. A bundle cancelled within its 14 days is refunded for the sessions you have not had, and bundle sessions must be used within 6 months of buying it.
• You may cancel or reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Once your 14 days have passed, a booking cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice is charged in full. If you do not turn up and have not told me, I treat the session as having taken place, so the fee is not refunded.
• If I need to cancel a session, I will offer an alternative time or a full refund.
• The same rules apply to the discovery call, with its £10 fee in place of the session fee.

6. Confidentiality

Everything discussed in sessions is treated as confidential. I will not share information about you with third parties without your consent, unless I am required to do so by law or where there is an immediate risk to your safety or the safety of others (see my Safeguarding Policy).

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, blog posts, and resources, is my intellectual property and may not be reproduced without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

My mentoring services are provided in good faith. I do not guarantee specific outcomes and am not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on the mentoring provided.

9. Screening Tool Disclaimer

The ADHD screening tool on this website is based on the WHO Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not a diagnostic tool. Results should not be used as a substitute for a professional assessment.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me at caitlin.hollywoodlai@gmail.com. I will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 14 working days.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. A change never affects a booking you have already made: that booking stays on the terms that applied when you made it.
