ADHD Support That Understands Derby
Living with ADHD in Derby comes with its own challenges. NHS waiting lists across Derbyshire can stretch to years, and finding specialist ADHD support locally is not always easy.
As a qualified Advanced Social Work Practitioner based in Mickleover, I understand the local landscape, from NHS pathways and the Right to Choose route, to university support at the University of Derby. My mentoring bridges the gap between waiting for clinical support and getting practical help now.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from people in Derby looking for ADHD support.
Do you offer in-person ADHD coaching in Derby?
All sessions are currently delivered online via Google Meet. This means you get the same high-quality, personalised support from the comfort of your home, with no commuting across Derby or finding parking. Many clients find online sessions actually work better for their ADHD, as they can be in their own comfortable environment.
How much does ADHD coaching cost in Derby?
Single sessions are £125 for 60 minutes. I also offer bundles: 3 sessions for £320 (save 15%) or 5 sessions for £470 (save 25%). This is competitive with other ADHD coaches in the Derby and East Midlands area, and you can start with a free 15-minute discovery call to see if it is right for you.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to work with you?
No. You do not need a formal diagnosis. Many of my clients in Derby and Derbyshire are on NHS waiting lists, going through private assessment, or simply recognise ADHD traits in themselves. My mentoring is open to anyone experiencing executive function challenges.
What is the difference between ADHD coaching and therapy?
ADHD coaching and mentoring is practical and skills-based. We focus on building strategies for organisation, time management, and daily life. Therapy explores the emotional and psychological aspects of ADHD. Many people benefit from both. I am not a therapist; I provide mentoring based on my professional experience as an Advanced Social Work Practitioner.
Can university students in Derby access ADHD mentoring?
Yes, I work with students at the University of Derby and other local institutions. If you receive Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), your ADHD mentoring sessions may be funded through your support package. Contact your university disability service to find out more.
