How do online ADHD coaching sessions work?
Sessions are 60 minutes via Google Meet. I send you a link before each session, and you just click to join from your laptop, tablet, or phone. We discuss what you are working on, identify patterns, and build practical strategies together. Many clients find the routine of a regular online session becomes an anchor in their week.
Is online ADHD coaching as effective as face-to-face?
Yes. Research consistently shows online coaching is equally effective as in-person sessions. For many people with ADHD, it is actually preferable: no executive function drain from travelling, you can be in a familiar environment, and there is less sensory overwhelm. You also avoid the common ADHD trap of running late because you underestimated travel time.
Do I need any special equipment?
Just a device with a camera and microphone (laptop, tablet, or phone) and a stable internet connection. Google Meet runs in your browser, so there is no software to download. I recommend finding a quiet, comfortable spot where you will not be interrupted.
Can you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. While my experience and knowledge are primarily UK-based (NHS pathways, Right to Choose, DSA, Access to Work), the practical strategies we work on are universal. I have worked with clients in different time zones, and we just find a session time that works for both of us.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full session fee. I understand that ADHD can make time management tricky, so I always send reminders before sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. Some clients see significant progress in 3-5 sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. There is no minimum commitment, so you can book individual sessions as needed or save with a bundle. We will discuss what makes sense for you during the free discovery call.
