How this site's content is created

This policy explains who is responsible for the information on this site, how higher-risk topics are checked, and where mentoring ends and clinical advice begins.

Who writes the content

Articles are published under Caitlin Hollywood's name. Caitlin is an ADHD mentor and qualified social worker, not a doctor, psychiatrist, or prescribing clinician. Her professional background and current role are explained on the About page.

Scope and safety

The site provides practical, non-clinical ADHD information and mentoring guidance. It does not diagnose ADHD, replace individual medical or legal advice, or tell readers to start, stop, or change medication. Urgent and crisis topics are kept separate from commercial calls to action.

Sources and high-risk topics

Medical, diagnostic, medication, benefits, and legal-process articles require extra care. Important claims should link to traceable primary or authoritative sources such as the NHS, NICE, GOV.UK, legislation, or the underlying research. Readers should check the source date because services and rules can change.

Reviews and corrections

A publication date shows when an article first appeared. An updated date is added after a meaningful content review or change. Named clinical review is shown only when a qualified reviewer has actually checked that page. Corrections are made without inventing a new freshness date for cosmetic edits.

Commercial independence

Articles may link to Caitlin's mentoring services or books when they are relevant. Those links do not change the evidence standard, and informational pages should still give readers a useful answer without requiring a purchase.
