ADHD Support for People in Sheffield

Getting ADHD support in Sheffield is not always straightforward. Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust handles adult ADHD assessments locally, but waiting lists can stretch well beyond a year, leaving many people without practical support when they need it most.

Whether you are a student at the University of Sheffield or Sheffield Hallam University, or a working professional in South Yorkshire, my mentoring bridges that gap. You can also explore the Right to Choose pathway for a faster NHS-funded assessment, or read about what to do while on the NHS waiting list.

All sessions are delivered online via Google Meet, so you can access support from anywhere in Sheffield or South Yorkshire without needing to travel. Many clients find online sessions actually work better for their ADHD, as they can be in their own comfortable environment with fewer distractions.

Single sessions are £125 for 60 minutes. I also offer bundles: 3 sessions for £320 (save 15%) or 5 sessions for £470 (save 25%). This is competitive with other ADHD coaches in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area, and you can start with a free 15-minute discovery call to see if it is right for you.

How long are NHS ADHD waiting lists in Sheffield?

Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust manages adult ADHD assessments locally, and waiting times can stretch well beyond 12 months. You do not need to wait for a diagnosis to start mentoring. Many of my clients begin working with me while they are still on the waiting list, or use the Right to Choose pathway to access a faster private assessment funded by the NHS.

Can University of Sheffield or Sheffield Hallam students access ADHD mentoring?

Yes, I work with students at both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University. If you receive Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), your ADHD mentoring sessions may be funded through your support package. Contact your university disability service to find out more.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to work with you?

No. You do not need a formal diagnosis. Many of my clients in Sheffield and South Yorkshire are on NHS waiting lists, going through private assessment, or simply recognise ADHD traits in themselves. My mentoring is open to anyone experiencing executive function challenges.
