Executive Function Coaching
Build the planning, organisation, and self-management skills that your ADHD brain finds hardest. Practical, 1-to-1 coaching that creates real change in your daily life.
Why Executive Function Matters
Executive functions are the foundation skills that everything else depends on. Dr Russell Barkley, one of the world's leading ADHD researchers, describes ADHD as fundamentally a disorder of executive function, not attention. When these skills are underdeveloped, every area of life is affected: work, relationships, finances, health, and self-esteem.
The good news is that executive function skills can be strengthened with the right support. My coaching helps you build practical systems and habits that compensate for the areas where your brain needs extra scaffolding. Read more about executive function strategies.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about executive function coaching.
What are executive functions?
Executive functions are the cognitive skills your brain uses to manage itself. They include working memory, flexible thinking, self-control, planning, organisation, time management, task initiation, and emotional regulation. Think of them as your brain's management system. In ADHD, these functions develop differently, which is why things like planning ahead, starting tasks, and managing time feel so much harder.
How is executive function coaching different from therapy?
Therapy typically focuses on understanding emotions, processing past experiences, and addressing mental health conditions. Executive function coaching is practical and skills-based. We work on building specific strategies for organisation, time management, task initiation, and other executive function areas. It is about developing systems that work for your brain, not exploring why your brain works the way it does.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis for executive function coaching?
No. Executive function challenges are common in ADHD, but they can also occur alongside autism, dyslexia, anxiety, depression, brain injury, and other conditions. You do not need any specific diagnosis to benefit from executive function coaching. If you struggle with organisation, time management, or getting started on tasks, this coaching can help.
What does a typical executive function coaching session look like?
Each session is tailored to your specific challenges. We typically start by reviewing what worked and what did not since our last session, then focus on one or two key areas. This might involve breaking down a specific challenge, building a new system or routine, troubleshooting something that is not working, or developing strategies for an upcoming situation. Sessions are practical, collaborative, and focused on real-world results.
How much does executive function coaching cost?
Single sessions are £125 for 60 minutes. I also offer bundles: 3 sessions for £320 (save 15%) or 5 sessions for £470 (save 25%). You can start with a free 15-minute discovery call to see if we are a good fit.
