ADHD Coaching & Mentoring Across the East Midlands
Practical ADHD support for adults and students in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, and across the East Midlands. Online sessions, with no travelling required.
Why the East Midlands Needs Better ADHD Support
The East Midlands has some of the longest NHS waiting times for adult ADHD assessment in England. Many adults across the region are waiting years for a diagnosis, and access to specialist ADHD support varies hugely by area.
ADHD mentoring fills that gap. You do not need a diagnosis to start, and you do not need to wait years to begin building strategies that help you manage daily life. Whether you are in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, or anywhere else in the region, support is available online.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about ADHD coaching in the East Midlands.
Where in the East Midlands are you based?
I am based in Mickleover, Derby, but all sessions are delivered online via Google Meet. This means I work with clients across the entire East Midlands region, including Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton, Lincoln, and everywhere in between.
How long are NHS ADHD waiting lists in the East Midlands?
NHS waiting times for adult ADHD assessment vary across the East Midlands but are typically 2-5 years or more. While you wait, ADHD mentoring can help you start building practical strategies immediately. The Right to Choose pathway may also give you access to a faster private assessment funded by the NHS.
Is online ADHD coaching as effective as in-person?
Research consistently shows that online coaching and mentoring is equally effective as in-person sessions. For many people with ADHD, online sessions are actually preferable: you avoid the executive function demands of travelling, you can be in a familiar environment, and there is less sensory overwhelm.
What qualifications do you have?
I hold a BA in Social Work and have over 7 years of experience as an Advanced Social Work Practitioner. My professional background has given me extensive experience supporting individuals with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Can you help with Access to Work applications?
I can provide guidance on applying for the Access to Work scheme, which can fund workplace coaching for employed adults with ADHD. This government scheme can cover the cost of ADHD coaching sessions as a workplace support measure.
